… 2015 RSAC Scottish Rally ….
Welcome (or not!) to the 2015 RSAC Scottish Rally, the fifth round of the ARR Craib Scottish Rally Championship, supposedly Scotland’s premier rallying competition.
Forgive the introduction but for the fourth forest rally in a row, there will be no ‘Media Accreditation’ on this event. Apparently “the Board of RSAC Motorsport has taken the decision not to accredit members of the media attending the 2015 Scottish Rally.”
That’s fine, but there has been no attempt to define who or what “media” is or are. It would appear that anyone other than a rally official or competitor is a spectator. Oddly enough the event has two named ‘Media Officers’ and a ‘Publicity Group’ comprising ten named individuals. This week’s ‘Dumfries Courier’ has a pull-out supplement, but as yet I have not seen any general press releases or press information regarding this event.
If you want any further information please go to the RSAC Scottish Rally website where some information will be made available in the run up to the event. There is no additional information on the Scottish Rally Championship website either.
However, there will be a Spectator Programme on sale at Rally HQ and other venues during the rally weekend. There is a website link to Spectator Maps and these are pretty good for what they are, see link below.
