ABR Roofing Kames Junior Rally, Sunday 20th October 2013

This Sunday sees the penultimate round of the Junior 1000 Rally Championship at Kames and it will be particularly interesting because two of the Juniors have actually now graduated (they’ll be shaving next!) and will be competing in bigger cars. We saw Ryan Weston and Alex Adams at the previous event and they will be out again in their Fiesta and Civic cars. Also of note will be the appearance of Drew Struthers in his Sunbeam because Andy Struthers will be competing in his Nissan Micra. My money’s on the boy because faither will either break it or bend it.

The fun starts at 9:00 am at the Kames Circuit in Muirkirk, first left after the traffic lights if coming from the east, and on the right just short of the traffic lights if coming from the west. There is a small charge to pay for entry to the car park, but it’s cheaper than the collecting plate if you’re thinking of a more spiritually uplifting experience at the church instead.
